The Championship consists of a 7-round robin with the top-ranked 6 players, joined by last year's Champion and last year's Challengers winner.
The remaining players compete in the Challengers tournament, a 7-round Swiss tournament, open to all club members, of all skill levels.
You are expected to play roughly 1 match per month, starting in early Autumn .
Please not that both tournaments are Chess Scotland-graded competitions, and require a certain degree of commitment.
